Understanding and managing variability in AI-generated scores.
Why Do Scores Fluctuate?
The Talent Scout AI uses advanced models to analyze and score candidates. Slight variations in scores may occur due to:- Probabilistic Nature of AI: AI models generate outputs based on probabilities, which can cause minor variations even with identical inputs.
- Input Differences: Small differences in formatting, updates to candidate profiles, or other contextual factors can affect the score.
- Dynamic Data: If the job description or candidate profile changes, the AI’s evaluation adapts accordingly.
How It Works
The match score is calculated by:- Analyzing candidate details such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
- Comparing this data to the requirements of the active job role.
- Assigning a suitability score, which indicates how well the candidate aligns with the job.
Mitigating Fluctuations
We understand that fluctuations can be confusing. To minimize their impact, Talent Scout:- Uses Deterministic Parameters: Our system is configured to ensure consistent analysis by controlling randomness in AI outputs.
- Provides Transparency: All actions and scores are saved in the Talent Scout History for reference.
